The nearly-blind old craps dealer, Bennie, is played by Redd Foxx, a comedy legend long before Eddie’s time, and the main inspiration for Richard Pryor, who plays Sugar Ray and is in turn Eddie’s idol in real life. Reggie the crying man is played by Arsenio Hall, who also co-starred with Eddie (as Prince Akeem’s servant) in Coming to America.

It’s not a heist movie, the movie CRASH had one of the best most underrated plot twists & storylines ever.

If you want a good heist film I highly recommend Inside Man with Denzel Washington if you haven't seen it. Directed by Spike Lee. In fact I highly recommend a bunch of Spike Lee films. Especially from the 80s and 90s like Do the Right Thing, School Daze, Crooklyn, Jungle Fever, Clockers (especially since y'all watching The Wire), Malcom X... I feel nobody really reacts to his films. Also another great heist film is Dog Day Afternoon.

One of my favorites. I first discovered this movie as a kid in the late 90s. Can't remember the exact year. I was with my friend and his older brother and sister and a bunch of other people. We couldn't believe this legendary cast. None of us had seen it although some of them were in their early 20s. Everyone enjoyed it lol.

W react. Gotta watch the Oceans movies and The Italian Job. Some of the best heist movies with crazy twists. Uptown Saturday Night and Lets Do It Again also. Huge comedic ensemble like in this one.

Can't believe this my first time watching from beginning to end, only seen bits and pieces like the alley fight and the shootout with boy with the little gun. Charlie Murphy is also a comedy and yes that's Eddie's Brother. The cop that got locked in the bank played in Do the right thing A Spike Lee joint just saying lol, and if you guys like movies with twists Old Boy (2013) is a crazy one also a Spike Lee joint.
