back 20 years ago lol i never was a fan of how he moved, even in the war i was a fan of Cutty, Avon and Chris, Dee never told he just wanted to be left alone and to smash his girl after you got him killed talking to the police was the breaking point i was glad when i saw this ended, never was a fan of String or McNulty.

I feel that… for us that were fans since season 1 it was REALLY difficult to transition to the … well let’s just wait …. We can’t talk because our hosts haven’t seen it But Jae kind of got it … a world with out String was hard as heck 20 years ago and we were stationed in Iraq watching recorded dvds of season 3 so we were devastated

The wild thing about the meeting on the balcony is String was saying goodbye to Avon because the cops would soon be acting on his tip and Avon was saying goodbye to String because he had to put Brother on him. Both thought they had the upper hand in that meeting.

Avon HAD to let Stringer go. Stringer was trying to take Avon’s place. He killed his nephew. He did the co-opt behind Avon’s back. Avon sent Muzone to hold his towers & corners and instead Stringer set Muzone up to get killed by Omar. Stringer violated the Sunday morning truce. There’s so much. Avon should’ve done it earlier TBH

Stringer's downfall ultimately was thinking he can outsmart everyone else . Those political types saw him as an easy mark . Also, his moves were very secretive with Avon . His deal with Prop Joe , his lie to Muzzone and his lie to Omar . Sure, Stringer may have been more business minded than Avon, but he wasn't as principled, and his lack of principles is what made his world close in him .

Stringer went out bad. He told on Avon, and his karma came immediately. But as a lot of us have said, the show gets better. Season 4 is the best to me
