No, the OceanGate Titan was not more advanced in my opinion, they had a darn video game controller as a remote I think. But the footage on the monitor screens from the movie is real footage. they actually just released 90 minutes of that footage that was taken in 1986 online in 2023 for the 25th anniversary of the release of the Titanic movie. And James Cameron also went down to the Titanic wreck himself - 12 times at an average of 16 hours each. A camera was fashioned that could withstand the pressure and only had 12 minutes of film. James made sure to do a ton of research. I have a whole book with behind the scene photos of the movie, they used a way smaller model of the ship and all the water scenes were actually in 50 degree temp water that eventually heated up to 80degree temp.

So I wanted to provide some unique facts about people who were on the Titanic. Margaret Brown was really named Unsinkable Molly Brown. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margaret_Brown The Band really did play music but not the entire time. They all lost their lives, only 2 of 8 band members body’s were recovered. BandMaster & violinist Wallace Hartley was found with his Violin case still strapped to him & another violinist John Law "Jock" Hume body was discovered by another ship CS Mackay-Bennett. The end scene with them riding the boat till it goes under water, the man next to them in the white shirt and life jacket sipping alcohol out of his flask was a REAL person his name was Charles Joughin Chef Baker on Titanic, & he survived the cold water. Theory was that because he consumed alcohol, whiskey to be exact, it kept his insides warm enough to be found. This is a detail from Wikipedia, “Joughin climbed to the starboard side of the poop deck, getting hold of the safety rail so that he was on the outside of the ship as it went down by the head. As the ship finally sank, Joughin rode it down as if it were an elevator, not getting his head under the water (in his words, his head "may have been wetted, but no more"). He was, therefore, the last survivor to leave the Titanic.” He did a lot of heroic things before the ship went down too. Also, You guys should check out Revolutionary Road which also stars Leo, Kate Winslet (Rose) and Kathy Bates (Margaret Brown, the lady who helped Jack with his suit in Titanic, Unsinkable Molly Brown)

Says Jack who made her promise that she would experience everything in life and grow old and die peacefully in her sleep. If you think she’s dreaming then you didn’t understand any of the symbolisms. Her dropping the heart of the ocean in the water where the boat sunk and where jack died and all the lives lost. Then all the photos they show of all the experiences Rose did through her life and her passing away by showing her meeting all the passengers and Jack. It’s most definitely meant for us to know she passed away & not dreaming.

A lot of experts say the ship most likely would've survived the hit if they hit it straight on but since it basically just poked big holes all along the sides it made it easier to sink. Especially with how fast it sunk, it only took over 2 hrs. to be at the bottom of the ocean.

To prove that they both couldn't have gone on the wooden door, no matter how you tried to fit them on there, the director proved by trying multiple different ways testing it to show the world that you literally could not have fit both people because it would have gone under sheer weight and physics can't be helped

Make it count, Meet me at the clock. And she did just that after doing everything Jack promised they would do, She made her life count and when it was over, she met him at the clock once more. She died in her sleep after living a long life and reunited in the afterlife forever. That ending is such a masterpiece, Jame Cameron is a true artist. Titanic is an incredible movie, how ppl manage to vote for the less better movies over the best once can be frustrating but I’m glad you both know it’s definitely 10/10 and one of one!!!

Wen Jack's friend said he could see the Statue of Liberty, he was kidding. Just like when you see space movies and a person says they can see their house. The whole, could Jack have gotten on the headboard or not debate had gone on for decades. He couldn't because the weight of two people pushed it underwater. The life jackets were pretty useless since only one lifeboat came back, and it was too late.

Definitely lived up to the hype didn't expect it to be this good. It wasn't boring, thought it was gong be all about romance. If you want to see the young Rose (Kate Winslet) in another movie, she's in Divergent and they threw a Titanic Easter Egg in it too.

They portrayed a few historical people in this badly. Like the guy who shot himself, he never did that. He was very important in getting women and children on the lifeboats. His family ended up suing the studio for his portrayal. And Mr Ismay the guy with the fancy mustache and the White Star Line Employee whose ship it actually was did indeed board one of the boats. But he did so at the last opportunity, when he helped every single woman and children he could get his hands on. They portrayed him as a guy who didn’t care about anybody but himself.

The submarines the people used to go down a year or so ago was not more advanced and it was controlled by Xbox controller. James Cameron, the director of this movie was telling people they're properly to go see the Titanic because he made many trips to go see the Titanic and he explained what those people did wrong. But yes the footage of the submarines are really down there with the Titanic
