Marlo always had a sneaky suspicion about Joe . Joe was trying to get him the join the co-op for projection and shared product , when Marlo didn't jump at it at first , next thing you know Marlo was robbed in the card game . I think Marlo suspected Joe knew about that and the big robbery before Omar left . Joe is my favorite character in the game but he's was crafty and a weasel too .

Omar is based on multiple ppl. The guys experiences were used to make him authentic though. Omar being gay is based off another guy that was a stick up man in bmore. Think heโs dead now though.

RIP to prop Joe. He died a couple years ago irl too. Itโs crazy that Joe wouldnโt give up cheese cuz thatโs his nephew but cheese gave up Joe smh. Another way to show how the game was different. Joe had loyalty and a code. these young cats just, donโt. EDIT: I forgot Daniels was on his Alonzo from training day shit ๐ญ

Yes, the characters keep dying because itโs realistic. And notice who dies. None of the cops. And Only cop who fired their weapon was Prez ๐. The main character is the city of Baltimore. How the power structures maintain status quo. I understand the appeal of Snowfall BUT I wish you all would switch it up - watch Game of Thrones, True Blood, Ozark.

Snowfall is all the way better. Better writing & better acting. Going from the Wire to Power is too big of a drop in quality to me. Power is cool but itโs not elite level.

On the snowfall vs power thing. I rock with power heavy just like yall but me being non biased snowfall is just better written and acted. And John singleton created snowfall. He died after season 3 came out. I love both shows but snowfall is definitely the better show and it feels more real for the most part. Power is more so just entertainment because you know some of the stuff they do on there would never happen in real life lmao. And I agree with Jaeโs Tariq take I donโt believe nothing he says and heโs also just an ok actor. He doesnโt show much range. Thatโs why snowfall being compared to Tariqโs show is silly. Original power I can understand to an extent but to book 2? Nah lmao.
