I love how most people commenting here seem to have missed that Maxwell pointed out at the end that Walt asked him specifically to ramp up his "Maxwell-ness" for the show.

I almost made it through to the end but maxwell is unbearable . I’d rather be chained to a radiator with gittem for a year then suffer through 5 minutes of maxwell .
