Agree with both. I’m glad to have the audio but kinda annoyed at all the music that just plays when there’s a clip being showed. Would have been easy to edit.

I don't understand the people complaining, if you don't like the way the audio version came through, don't listen to it. They didn't have to post the audio version at all so, getting an unedited version seems better to me than nothing.

I’m at the $10. I listened to the audio version of this initially while working and it made no sense (so it doesn’t seem like a bad idea to edit an audio version). However, even if they don’t do that and keep things as is, I’ve been listening since I was a freshman in college and have only been paying for Patreon for a couple years. I owe TESD so much more than 10 bucks a month for how much of my life they’ve accompanied me through. It’s the soundtrack to my life. Plus, the video for this was way higher quality than even necessary probably. All of the videos are. Plus plus, why do you need Q so much to enjoy an episode? Remember when he was the sound guy and was berated for speaking even? Remember when there was a kangaroo court for XX% less Q? Truly classic. Also, there’s been a pandemic on and the guys are literally all doing their best.

The issue is not that we're unappreciative or envious of the video or even displeased with the content. All they have to do is take a few minutes and edit out the video-only music sections from the audio file. Raging about a free pod is one thing (there I would agree with "don't like, don't listen" but when you're a paying sub, a listenable audio file is absolutely not asking for too much.

I agree with most here. I'm a $5 tier sub and I totally get that video is for the $10 tier (for the most part, and the ones we get I appreciate) but I really feel you guys could very simply edit out the music sections for the audio version. For anyone saying "they work hard..." yeah, so does everyone else and it isn't coming from a place of hate, it's not a lot to ask that the ONE drop a week that you get be listenable. All in all though, I love you guys and appreciate the content.

Geez, I listened to this twice! Came here to say thanks and saw all the negative comments. I think we have to remember that they’re trying new things and that’s how pods get better. There was so much fun banter in this! I’m a content creator and I know how hard it is to constantly come up with new, fresh stuff that’s entertaining and high quality. It’s incredibly difficult! Try to appreciate what they’re doing and cut them a break when something isn’t your favorite. This isn’t custom-content just for you! The videos are awesome, so if you want the videos, pony up the extra $5! Sad ‘cuz Q is barely in it? Then you don’t quite get TESD Town yet and you need to let yourself fall in love with all the other guys. Give yourself a chance. They all have their own unique charms:) Loved it!

Audio version sucks, don't bother with it. Video looks fun (haven't finished it yet, rarely have time to watch).

Walt, this isn't edge of your seat entertainment. It's vacate your seat entertainment. Audio version feels like an afterthought.

Can we get the audio only versions without the random sound clips please? Probably makes sense to the video viewers but it means when listening to audio you spend more time skipping than listening! Don’t mind if it leaves a short episode, at least it’s all TESD/etc
