Rina Jaffe

I’ll admit to sleeping on these episodes, but I always come out wanting to dive in to whatever you guys are talking about! Idk what the TESD bump is, but Grand Funk is getting that shit rn 😂❤️

Brett Bonner

Best one yet.. 4th listen since its release

David Walker

Fascinating as always. This is my 2nd favorite Patreon pod, right after Tales from Behind the Fake Counter. This is some truly interesting and passionate conversations. This shit rules

Frank

Love these episodes. Always Interesting conversations. Awesome.

tooawaretocare

This is easily one of the greatest pods ever made. Will always listen multiple times and constantly writing down everything you both talk about.

I LOVE when you and Dave talk about music! I am not a comic book guy but still enjoy listening to you talk about them, but your music selection is always phenomenal. More music on Third Eye Radio!!

Angelo Ray

Loved this episode. Have to admit I knew next to nothing about GFR beyond their big hits, but I started listening to their albums after hearing this episode. They’re so damn good!!

Joseph Vincent

I loved every second of this episode. I was playing along the whole time.

JoeyMagz

Love this show so much! Happy to see a new episode roll out. Thanks guys! Keep it up!

derek evan

Yeah and the new artists didn't work for Wood God. Remember Star God? How did that not hit? A Werewolf God worshipped by Outer Space Barbarians. It had everything! It's like they realized they had 2 wolfmen at once so in Creatures on the Loose 36 a young Perez sends him into space.

Mutorcs

My least fave but glad others love it. I’m sure someone isn’t listening to my favorites. TESD has a perfect variety. TESD4Life!!!

Damo Adams

this is what i sell comics should of been… ps only ever listen to the TESD made episodes of i sell comics hahah

Damo Adams

I truly love these pods!!

Michael J Curtis

I love this show, I am a casual comic fan, passionate music fan, these conversations never fail to capture me. One complaint, they keep making me want to go dive into their interests and buy things! I'm reading Judge Dredd Cursed Earth now and its wild exactly as they said! Thank you, keep them coming please.

Matt Woosnam

I could listen to them talk about comics all day. Thanks guys for another banger.

Sean Kamp

As false an opinion as one can have. This show rules, and I am happy that these guys are doing stuff they actually love.

Twigbeef

i fawkin love you two ole fawks talk real. Walt rules, always has done.... Dave however is a fawkin legend, and i thank the gods you met eachother.

Kris and Aubree

Third Eye is great! I think it is very in depth and interesting, and these two dudes are super passionate about comics and music. There is a lot to learn by listening to these episodes. I don't feel like it's filler at all!

Joe Soldezzo

Walt Flanagan is someone obviously touched by magic.

Peter I.

I truly dig all the patreon content, but for my money, Third Eye Radio is definitely the winner. I love hearing Dave and Walt geek out over good music, writing, and art from different eras. Funny and insightful, it rekindles my love for the authors, artists, and subjects and sends me down rabbit-holes of wild new (old) stuff to chase down and check out. It's a shame the rest of the comics and rock n' metal world outside the Anthill will miss out on this good, good $#!%. So grateful we get it here! Thank you, Walt and Dave! \m/

Mike Flores

Been waiting for the day off to enjoy this uninterrupted. I absolutely LOVE Third Eye. I could listen and typically do relisten to the comic portions over and over. Often times to pause and look things I may not know about up, go down those rabbit holes, then return to the pod. The music is great too but my heart beats to the comics. Great chemistry between Walt and Dave.

Joshua Davis

It’s the same film. Black had attached Dwayne Johnson to play Doc (terrible choice, IMO), and even that couldn’t get the film made. Hollywood was just not convinced on the property.

Andrew Gordon

This is absolutely my favorite show. Dave being on TESD got me to finally really listen to Monster Magnet and realize that they are one of the best bands ever. There’s nothing better than listening to Walt and Dave discuss their passions. Can we get some Captain Beyond talk? I gotta imagine Dave is a fan.

AntKoolaid

I would love to see a death wish comic by walt and dave hahaha, in that same vein id love to see walt do a B&W book!

AntKoolaid

The rock was also trying to make a doc savage movie starring him for a while

Carlene

I’m not a comic reader, but I love listening to two guys who are so passionate talk about what they love:)

David Hildebrand

I actually love this

Tell 'em Steve-Dave!

❤️

Eleven Bravo

Woah Woah Woah, relax. This show is filler, can't all be gems.

Tell 'em Steve-Dave!

Sorry to hear you’re not enjoying third eye . I will admit it’s not for everyone but I don’t consider it filler material, just material that isn’t in your wheel house unfortunately. Hopefully you’re enjoying our other shows.

Tell 'em Steve-Dave!

I LOVED WOOD-God ! It was drawn by Keith Giffen ! I for the life of me don’t know why he wasn’t utilized more. A marvel team up issues 53 & 54 and some forgettable hulk issues in the early 80s and he disappeared .

Joshua Davis

If Walt actually reads this: Shane Black of Lethal Weapon and The Nice Guys fame wrote a script for a Doc Savage movie and had been trying to get it made for almost ten years before it was deemed dead. The budget needed to make it was too high, and no one in Hollywood was convinced that a Doc Savage movie, in this day and age, would make that much money.

Dave rulez 🤘🏻

derek evan

They had TWO gambling related superheroes in Premiere back then. Dominic Fortune and Jack of Hearts. They had 3D Man. They had Wood God. Marvel jumped on the satyr bandwagon. Was there even a satyr bandwagon?

derek evan

An old woman fucked a rat creature to become young again and it showed it! It was a Tigra short story written by Chris Claremont before he became the X Men guy. In Monsters Unleashed I think.

David Walker

This show is too good to be on Patreon, hidden behind a paywall. It transcends tesd town and is just a great retro comics & music podcast. It needs to find an audience outside of tesd patreon!!! Non-ants would love this show and it could be a good gateway to tesd for newcomers. This show should be available to a wider audience is what Im saying, it RULES

Brad Elmore

Nobody looked cooler than Farner. 🤘

grantdavid360

He said, “we should do a Death Wish comic” in passing, but that actually sounds like a pretty killer idea.

Kevin Callan

Did Dave hint at that as a possibility in this episode

Andrew Gerald

Each episode is pure gold and could easily be a weekly show that would dominate. Hearing Dave sing the lyrics to MacArthur Park was hilarious! All hail the 3rd Eye!!

Scott Dyer

I fucking love this show!

grantdavid360

Please do a comic book together

Jay MacLeod

1 hour in and I'm loving this

SuperDoom 1104

This is fucken awesome, I hate myself for barely joining Patreon until now haha

Kelly Doren

Isn't it fucking great?!?! This show deserves to be heard by comic and rock fans.

Kelly Doren

If there was ever a TESD show that deserved to be spun off as a standalone non-Patreon podcast, it's this one. I love every episode.

Landon Meek

Awesome episode! I'm a huge Hulk fan and I just picked up the Essential Rampaging Hulk because of this pod!

Sean Murphy

That’s a solid idea. Pretty fleshed out too.

Matthew Peterson

I was playing around with an idea for em a lot like this to rotate in after the Kiss pod is done, where people from TESD town present an album to a high council (The High Horsemen) of Walt, Bry, Tim, and probably a rotating 4th, where they technically give it a shot but mostly shit on stuff they don't already like. I was calling it The Gatekeeperz

Sean Murphy

SHOW IDEA- If PPP ever wraps up, we’re going to need another music show. I pitch this. An ant brings 3 songs or maybe 1 album to Walt from that last 30 years. The ant sells the music just like PPP. The idea is to see if Walt would listen to the content more than once. The gimmick. In all likelihood pretty much all music would be a NO. It’s just natural to not get into music that’s outside your generation. But every once in awhile one might hit.

Jeremy Soers

Love all the history that you provide! This is great!

Sean Murphy

GFR fucking jams!

Broonly1

I don't even understand what Walt and Dave are on about half the time but the passion grabs me every time

Tom Rader

I now lament selling off my comic book collection, including a lot of that Marvel B&W mag stuff. I thought they were going to forget to mention Howard the Duck, until the very end of the comic book hour. The 70s was in my wheel house of comic book collecting.Dave W certainly knows his stuff.

Brett Bonner

Kick ass. Almost 2 hours?. In my top 3 shows on TESD for sure. More more more!

Cor3y

MY 3RD EYE IS OPEN!!!

Adam Karpin

Best show on Patreon. Hands down.

Marco Mandujano

Hell yeah! I recently binged all the third eye radio episodes, it's one of my favorite shows on patreon.
