Lets get the Kyle Rayner ep they talked about back in the Secret Wars ep. Or a Blackest Night episode would be cool!

Walt if you happen to see this comment, you need to watch a documentary called “selling Superman” that came out this month of November 2024 you will definitely like it
Michael Southwell
We need alot more I buy comics. I have always fallen on the Marvel side of the fence but I love hearing Walt and Q talk about their comic experience with such passion that it makes me want to look ino the DC stuff!
Jester GRFX
I really like these episodes. So great to hear the guys geek out and detail what they love about these books. For those of you who like to read physical copies, if “Fantastic Four” #112 is cost prohibitive, there was a reprint in 1980’s “Marvel's Greatest Comics: starring the Fantastic Four” issue #92 .

I met my wife near Cleopatra’s Needle by The Met Museum in Central Park
Ryan Carnahan
Oh shit! The 90s Fantastic Four theme got me. Great episode. Please release more comic related content!

Transformers #3 was my first comic that made me a collector as well. I couldn't wrap my head around how Spider-Man could meet the Transformers. Then I NEEDED to know why Spider-Mans suit was different than the one from The Electric Company and Spider-Man and his Amazing friends. I am loving the Skybound Energon universe as well!
Jacob Waller
Walt asking if the good guys are called Autobauns may be the biggest criminal act in TESD history. 🙃
Francis Wren
Don't let the door knob hit you where the good lord split you foamface

What book did Walt pick? Any help appreciated

Walt, did you keep any of your original comics from your collection or were they all sold to fund your hardcover collection
Bladesofsteel79
Great episode!!! Love Walt’s comment if you didn’t know the artist fuck you poser. My question for Walt.. your top 5 omnibus???
JoeyMagz
Sorry to see you go.
Tell 'em Steve-Dave!
Yeesh, you’d thought I
PatreANT
On the next I Buy Comics can you give 5 minutes to the 5 issue run of Godzilla In Hell? I’d love to know Walt’s opinion
Aaron Barnes
thats what he does he's walking troll lol
Rich Mendoza
What a piece of shit this was! Walt was insufferable. I couldn't get past 20 minutes. Purposely not remembering a characters name over and over again is the obnoxious thing he does. And for all those who are going to come at me 1) fuck you 2) I pay my money and I am entitled to my opinion 3) the whole time of TESD is fuck you if you don't like it so my finger is hovering over that cancel button

FF is my fave comic but I began later (my first and gateway comic was #361 in 1991 - given by a teacher at my elementary school, the giant Dr. Doom face on the cover made him my top villain forever and Paul Ryan is a really underrated artist); just finished reading 112 on the Marvel Unlimited app and talk about nonstop action!
Seelnelg Vader
Great episode. Always good to hear the guys talking things that they love about funnybooks, and what started them on that journey. For me, Best of 2000AD 41 - features a Judge Dredd story called the Graveyard Shift. I was thrust into the world of Mega City One, and was immediately hooked

I LOVE IBC ❤️

I still love it all..........keep it coming....

“I hate when people do lines” says the guy who’s on a podcast that’s literally named after and closes with a “line” he says in a movie. Love all the shows guys!

As a six year old I was obsessed with Bill Sienkiewicz' art in New Mutants #22, from the pile of back issues my dad would get for pennies at the local mall
Gibran Waldron
Awesome episode! My first comic was also Transformers (issue 1), got it at a newsstand in Hartford, CT back in ‘84. My favorite cover of all time is from issue 5 with Shockwave gracing the cover.
Ryan Franzese
New favorite show.
Davyd Tate
More comic talk! Please and thank you
Richard A Mesa
Loved the episode, mine was Peter Parker The Spectacular Spider-Man #52. My dad randomly bought it for me. It was so much better than the cartoons I was hooked. Took me years before I met a friend who read comics and told me that there were actual comic shops. That blew my mind.
Amy
What a fun topic! What's everyone's gateway comic? Mine is definitely The Maxx. It was so eye-opening and depicted mental health issues in a way I had never seen before.
Kevin Sheridan
Love the new artwork
Adam Vermillion
Transformers was also my first entry into comics. Issue 6. Shockwave vs Megatron. Almost 40 years later here I am still reading comics. And still reading Transformers comics!
Broonly1
Probably give us a double next time but they shouldn't be breaking up episodes
