I really quite liked this episode. We had our different little vignettes. It was a nice change of pace.
So, I do not know exactly what is going on with Petyon and Luke's baby. But it doesn't seem good, whatever it is. Plus, if I'm Luke, and I agree to let Peyton have this baby and it doesn't work out (although, I cannot see Peyton dying), how will Luke possibly be able to live with the guilt of not having tried harder to get her to abort this baby? I can just see that eating him alive.
Ugh. No. As much as I want Haley to be happy, I do not want her touring. That will mean way less scenes with Nathan. That is the worst thing that could happen. No thank you. However, if it means we get more scenes like this one, I might allow it. It's just impossible not to just grin like a crazy person when the two of them are happy. And thank god they are. We need to happy right now.
Totally fine with Mouth and Millie breaking up for good. I do hope she doesn't leave the show for good, though.
You know, I knew things were too good with Dan. I was letting my guard down. And then he had the fucking balls to tell Deb that he did his time for Keith's murder, so he can basically put it behind him. Excuse me? No. First of all, five years is nowhere near enough time. But even if it was, you don't get to pretend that like it was fine that you did it. And justify it away. And speaking of Dan, I refuse to believe that story about him at Disney World. That so did not happen. And now we're getting a heart. Blech.
And then we've got Brooke and Julian. I really like the idea of him being afraid that Brooke still loves Lucas causing a problem in their relationship. I didn't really think about it. I was so focused on Peyton and Luke, that I sort of forgot about Brooke and Luke. Do we think they are gonna be able to get passed this? I think I'm rooting for them all of a sudden. Lol.

Man Peyton can’t catch a break😭 thought we were past the point of breaking her more than she already has been…. 2 moms dying, dad almost die , stalker like man give her a break

I loved this episode too. I thought the individual vignettes for each couple was a clever and unique way to approach this episode and it really worked. I think it was about 6 weeks or so between episodes when this one aired, so the mention that it had been about a month in Tree Hill time tracked for the characters. How great was Naley getting to celebrate their 7th wedding anniversary together. As you mentioned.... them happy and together on-screen just brings about big smiles all around, for everybody, hehe. They are just fabulous together and I love them so much. Loved their fortune cookie banter, Nathan with the whole adding in bed bit at the end of every fortune is hilarious, and never stops being old, lol. Naley talking about the future, Haley getting back into music and possibly touring again, having more children, and growing old together....is the dream. Like I said...they are amazing!!! And of course, them channeling the characters in "It's a Wonderful Life" is so fitting for them, hehe!!! Even Lucas and Peyton's stuff was so touching and heartfelt, and both Chad and Hilarie acted their asses off in those scenes. Usually, I don't buy the happy go lucky couple stuff between them, but they certainly do the dramatic and trauma induced stuff exceptionally well, and those scenes might have been their best stuff ever......so kudos to them for going there and shinning in those tough and difficult scenes. And yes...poor Julian. I felt so bad for him too, even though I certainly understand Brooke's position of it being too soon. But the guy is madly in love with her, and she's just not ready to hear it or believe it, much less say it back to him....so now what? I think you're right with guessing that this is going to change things between them...but the question is by how much, and can they get past it? And I loved the Dan/Deb/Jamie stuff. That dynamic of Dan and Deb playing the doting grandparents to Jamie just gets me every time, hehe. It's so complex and wild, and as Deb told Dan, she just wanted to be that couple in the photo album...tucking their grandchildren in together, and then she's reminded of the past and that he killed Keith, and then you're right back to square one. But who didn't love Dan telling Jamie that Naley were going to make it all the way to the finish line, hehe. Greatest line of the entire episode. Look how far Dan Scott has come with his love an adoration for Naley. He's their biggest supporter now. Who would have ever thought? lol This was a great episode though....and I'm so glad you enjoyed it as well Dana!!!
