9-1-1 5X2: Desperate Times

It's more plot based, than character centric. And it just doesn't have that 'vibe.' I'm sure I'm not explaining that properly, but I think you get me.
So, we're still dealing with the hacking situation. Everything is a hot mess. For some reason, Michael is playing host all the neighbors at Athena's house, since she's got a generator. So, people are in and out. Unfortunately, one of the 'neighbors' is Athena's attacker who is hell bent on revenge and kidnaps Harry.
Also, Eddie finally opens up to Buck about his panic attacks and 'blames' them on Ana. He says that he can totally 'stick it out' since Christopher loves her. But if that's the criteria we're going with, just date Buck! Christopher loves him too. But it seems like Buck is encouraging him to break up with her. We'll probably need to see what happens next episode, but it seems like it's trending that way.
OMG. Maddie and Jee. This woman needs help! I know she's going to therapy, but she needs, like actual, hands on help. Maddie! You are not super woman. You cannot be giving your baby a bath if you are so exhausted and depressed that you fall asleep during it. Ugh. I don't have kids, but it truly does seem like the hardest job in the world (which is why I don't have kids). And adding postpartum depression on top of that? I have no idea how she's coping. (Well, she's not, really.)
Also, I'm sorry, but did an alpaca eat someone's ear? 🤣

it’s definitely a character focused season so no worries there, the opening disaster always feels more plot heavy but once it’s over, it balances itself and focuses more on character. “But if that's the criteria we're going with, just date Buck! Christopher loves him too.” lmao that’s what i’m saying. it’s the easiest solution and an answer to his issues. like the whole ready-made family thing he doesn’t think he’s ready for with ana? if only he already had a family he created with someone else and one that doesn’t induce panic attacks at the thought. i forgot how rough the maddie stuff is, she really needs help 😔
