9-1-1 5X7: Ghost Stories (Halloween)
🕑 Added 2024-09-13 20:00:07 +0000 UTCThis was my least favorite episode, I think, of the entire series. Hopefully, you guys don't love this episode, because my discussion was both kind of harsh and super short because I didn't really even wanna talk about it.
You can't make Taylor Kelly and Ransone, the main characters of an episode and expect me to like it. You just can't. We hardly got any of our friends. (Was Eddie even in this episode?) It was all two people I don't care about (actually, I have nothing bad to say about Ransone, actually, he's just not one of our people) trying to solve a mystery. This isn't SVU! (Says the girl who has never actually seen an episode of SVU and just assumes that this is what it's like).
The good of this episode though, Chim saving a baby in Boston, and running into an old friend; and I guess Harry feeling better about his trauma and being willing to go home and talk about it.
I feel like there was another Halloween episode I wasn't so hot on either. Maybe they just don't to Halloween episodes well?

Yeah it is commonly thought of as the worst episode. I don't even hate Taylor as much as some people do but this episode was just weird

Thank you! I was so afraid you were going to say 'everyone loved this episode, what's wrong with you, Dana?!' Right. I still haven't come around on Taylor, and while I have nothing against Lou, he shouldn't be the focus of an episode! I cannot tell you how happy I am to have this reinforced. I was so nervous that everyone was gonna hate me for hating on this. 🤣

this is the worst rated episode of the entire show on imdb. literally everyone’s least favorite. who wants to see an episode focused on random side characters like taylor and lou? annoyingly enough the original episode was supposed to be different, the promo was more fun and halloween-y but they aired it a week late/post halloween because of something i can’t remember so they reworked the episode and it became this mess. also having to see eva again? this episode was just ugh the only upside was chim running into eli, the only person who was there for him back before hen and before the 118 became what it is now.
