Wildfire 3X12: Picking Sides

The Davis' sit down and try to get Pablo to give them inside info on Wildfire so that Avatar will will the Bristol Cup. Pablo is not willing to play ball, so Dani takes matters into her own hands. She decides to make some moves that get Gillian into the race, so she'll be around to mess with Kris' head, leading for her to have a bad race. Come on Dani. Remember when it wasn't that long ago I was starting to like you? What are you doing?
But, to be fair, I don't really think it's Gillian that's getting to Kris, it's the fact that her and Matt being together is messing up Matt and Junior's friendship. She spends most of this episode trying to get them back together. But both are resistant.
Either way, we've got to get ready for this race, which has Wildfire, Avatar, and one of Gillian's horses. It's basically being billed as either Wildfire or Avatar will win. During the race, Gillian's horse is basically out of the running and it's down to Avatar, Wildfire, and some other horse with two names. The two name horse bumps into Wildfire causing them to finish in third. But after an inquiry, they determine the two name horse to be in the wrong, but don't give Wildfire the victory because they don't know if he would have beaten Avatar (who came in first). Bullshit. Just let the horses run again! (Says the girl who knows nothing about horse racing. This will probably actually hurt the horses, so in actuality, we shouldn't be doing this). But this is so fucked up.
And O (I have no idea how to spell his name, so we're going with this) agrees. He comes to Kris and Matt later and suggests a race just between Wildfire and Avatar. But, it's got to be totally under the table. Which means, if they get caught, the farm could lose it's racing license. I'm a little concerned that Dani (who knows that O is into her) set this up to take Raintree down.
Oh, and it looks like Junior and Gillian might start dating. I wonder if that is actually what made Junior feel slightly okay (and even that seems like an exaggeration) about having a beer with Matt after the race.

I don’t think Kris did anything to signal that she wanted Junior back but Matt is insecure. I feel like Kris sees it like they did Junior wrong but Matt doesn’t and so he feels like she’s taking Junior’s side over his. Don’t get me wrong I think Matt feels bad Junior is hurt but ultimately doesn’t feel like he did anything wrong which is why he’s reluctant to apologize. Dani is really growing into her villain arc, in a smart way instead of a teenage mean girl way, and I’m kind of here for it. I know it’s wrong but I can’t help it haha.
