I understand feeling like there was too much of this episode revolving around the baseball game, however I loved how it played out because talk about a perfect full circle moment for this show. Back in S1 episode 6 when Nathan and Lucas got thrown out of the basketball game for fighting, and Whitey threw them off the bus in the middle of nowhere and made them walk home, lol, Nathan revealed to Lucas while they were hiding out in the woods, that when he was a kid playing little league baseball and Dan was the coach, how he bullied him and kicked him in the ass over the game....and to now see Nathan getting to coach Jamie's team all these years later, and to see what kind of coach Nathan is to his son, as opposed to how Dan was with him....is everything. It's one of those moments that you can fully appreciate being this many seasons in because it wouldn't have been possible if OTH didn't have as many seasons as it did, and when they do these full circle moments, usually revolving around The Scott Family, it makes the show very special. And yes...Brooke and Haley's friendship is by far the better friendship on the show where the girls are concerned, and I don't think you are in the minority for thinking that either, hehe. The Haley/Brooke friendship is the genuine one that makes the most sense, while the Brooke/Peyton friendship is the most toxic thing ever, and if this were real life, those ladies definitely wouldn't be friends as adults because that friendship wouldn't have survived past high school or even during it. It was written terribly. So anyways, good call on the better friendship no doubt. And that scene between Haley, Brooke, and baby Lydia was super adorable no doubt!!! And yay.... on Brulian being pregnant. Yes...it was a convoluted way to get there this episode, and now you know why they didn't get the baby a few episodes ago because they are going to have one of their own. Love how happy you are about it, hehe. And I liked how the Ian/Professor Kellerman stuff played out with the guys. Nathan handled it great with both Clay and Julian, and his talk with Kellerman played out great. He got to explain himself to Nathan on why he was covering for his son, and the two sort of came to a newfound understanding about each other. And Clay, Julian, and Nathan all ganging up on Ian and ambushing him at the bridge was their fitting revenge. They all took their shots, and Nathan punching him in service of Jamie was the best, hehe. I loved it all!!! And it was fitting that Nathan and Professor Kellerman got one last hurrah at the end, they had a drink together, well Nathan did, lol, and then Kellerman gave Nathan a heads up about the bird at the rivercourt. And I do love how we still get mentions of Dan and just how much that situation with his father haunts Nathan today. That Naley scene with the baby discussing Dan was everything, and Haley encouraging Nathan to go to the diner to talk with Dan shows just how much she loves and cares about Nathan's well-being. The fact that he tried but couldn't do it yet, but then went right back home to tell Haley that he couldn't go inside today, and she tells him there is always tomorrow.... epitomizes this couple so perfectly. They are everything. And then Jamie hitting the winning run at the end.... the Scott Family absolutely owns my heart, hehe!!!!

Yeah i like haley and brooke's friendship more than her friendship with peyton too. Peyton and brooke had so much drama and bad blood and haley and brooke are a more normal and realistic friendship. it grew slowly and become so sweet and they have far less betrayal between them
