Arrow 6X3: Next of Kin
🕑 Added 2025-01-10 22:00:08 +0000 UTCOkay, so we're all concerned about John being in charge here. His first night in the field as the Green Arrow, he was unable to make a decision and the bad guy and the illicit nerve agent got away.
Dinah is mostly concerned because she knows he's not at 100% and he didn't tell Oliver this when he agreed to put on the hood. But, John apologizes and assures the team, none of this will happen again. However, that doesn't stop Rene from going to ask Oliver to come back, as he's afraid of what will happen with John in charge. Oliver assures him that John is fine and no one needs to be worried about a thing.
The next night, things go much better with John able to both make decisions and help take out the bad guys. Both Dinah and Rene feel much better with him at the helm after that. Especially after he tells Dinah that his tremors are gone and she doesn't need to worry about them anymore. (You just knew that wasn't going to be true, it was just too easy).
While all of this is going on, the city is back to be all anti-vigilante. On the day the bill is going to be passed, Oliver shows up, as the mayor, and insists that it be put to a town referendum, where the city gets to decide on this. This buys them at least a little bit of time while they wait for the vote.
Felicity is busy tutoring William in math. And, as they both seem to taking a liking to each other, Oliver feels comfortable with the two of them being around each other and offers Felicity a key to his apartment. THEN THEY KISS. (You know this has to be the thumbnail.). Also, I was so worried when Oliver showed up that Felicity had a guy in the loft. She was just too casually dressed and awkward when he showed up. I'm still a bit afraid that we might find out in a flashback she did.
But, to make sure we don't get too much goodness at the end of the episode, after Olicity, we get a scene of John buying some kind of illegal (one can only assume) drugs to inject into this hands to stop the tremors. You knew they weren't just going to be gone.
Oh, and this FBI lady is so sure that Oliver is the Green Arrow. She's got a whole murder association wall going on in that office. This is not going to bode well for us this season. Fuck.

I'm so happy! I was afraid to enjoy this because of that. I love Felicity being awkward, but not right now. Lol.

Yay we are finally to the return of Olicity! And yeah as the other commenter said, I don't think it is a spoiler to say there was no guy in there since I don't think we were supposed to think that. She was just being awkward since she's Felicity

Yeah, Idk why she was so weird there,lol, but no they are both single. No guy is in the loft. They were both just waiting for the right time with William adjusting.
