Finally, finally, finally, the truth comes out. I've been waiting for this forever. And I'm surprised by how I feel. I thought I would feel so much better at Dani finally paying for this, but I think I just feel sad.
So, Callie and Jude are planning to spend the day with Sophia's family. Callie wants to make sure that Jude doesn't feel threatened by them. They end up having a really great day, actually. I could do without Sophia's mom, she seems like a bit of a controlling nightmare (at least towards Sophia), but other than that, it all goes well.
Robert ends up offering Callie the college money again, and after having such a pleasant day, she reconsiders and decides to take it. I don't feel good about this. I truthfully don't think Robert has bad intentions here, but I feel like if money gets involved, it can't help but get messy. Especially, at the end of the episode when Sophia and Robert talk about adopting Callie themselves. Robert tells Sophia that Callie already has a family that loves her, but he also doesn't say no. I'm nervous about this. On the plus side though, it does seem like his wife is angling to make sure she doesn't get adopted by them, so maybe that will actually work in our favor.
While the house is empty, Lena tells Brandon that it's time to tell Stef and Mike what happened. He's so uncomfortable, but finally, he manages to blurt it out. And Stef and Mike immediately start yelling at each other. Poor Brandon. He didn't ask for any of this. He wanted to keep his mouth shut (Lena's right, he can't, but it doesn't make me feel any better about it).
Stef ends up talking to Brandon after she's calmed down a bit, telling him he has to go to the police. What she did was illegal and she needs to be prosecuted. He refuses, claiming he was just as much in the wrong as she was. Wrong. It probably does feel that way to him though.
Eventually, Stef and Mike manage to have a conversation, calmly, about this. Mike, it turned out, is more humiliated than anything else. Which makes sense. Plus, when we feel vulnerable, we tend to last out. He's already coming around to Stef's side when she drops, 'What if this was Mariana who 'decided' to have sex with one of her teachers?' and Mike is basically sold.
So, he then goes to talk to Brandon and tells him the same thing. Yeah, maybe Brandon was an active participant, but Dani is the adult. It was her responsibility to make sure things like that don't happen. He reiterates that Dani needs to be held accountable for this.
One of the last scenes in the episode, is Dani getting arrested at her and Mike's place. She doesn't even seem to resist. She mostly just looked resigned, like she knew it was coming.
In between all this heaviness, we've got Mariana who is concerned she might get kicked off the dance team, since they don't have enough money for everyone to go to the competition. Unfortunately, it's obvious that she's one of the weaker dancers. And it doesn't help that the captain is constantly calling her out for it. I don't know. I would like it if Mariana got some juicier stories. Her dying her hair and being worried about making it to a dance competition are pretty low stakes for what else is happening on this show right now.
Plus, Jesus's girlfriend is totally manipulating him into making sure he doesn't spend anymore time with Emma than strictly necessary. Honey, you need to break up with this girl. She is not the one for you.

From day one i was rooting for Dani's downfall because she was weird from the start around Brandon and when she ended up crossing that line and raping him I knew she needed to be locked up for good but sadly I don;t dout that she may get a light sentence or none at all and just some community service due to how almost all preditors but in this instance female preditors are treated and how they don't really get those tougher snrences because sadly alot of people still believe that women can't be preiditors or that boys can't be victims or assualt and rape but those same people would be singing a completely different tune if it had been to a girl instead and the preditor was a man. it's just all soo sad becuase victims should be belived no matter their gender and someone being a man doesn't make him less of a victim and as demistrated by Mike who initially (even though he eventually came around to realising why that type of thinking is wrong and messed up) didn't believe that Brandon was raped ot could be raped because" boys can't be raped" and that just goes to show you how men can really be the biggest perpertrators of male victim blaming when it comes to male victims of sexual assualt and rape. But I am glad that after having that talk with Lena and Stef seperately that Mike was able to realise that his son was the victim even though he maybe didn't wan't to belive it at first because he probaby didn't actually believe that men could be vicitms too and probably because admiting to himself that Dani sa'd his son would have meant him having that guilt and thinking to himself that he somehow failed his son and that he should have been their to save and help him when at the end of the day the only person that deserves any sort of blame or guilt in this entire scenario is the preditor herself Dani. I have said this before and will continue to say this 1000 times again I aboslutely love and adore Callie and Judes relationtionship and how he felt confortable enough to be able to open up to her about his true feelings about the birth dad and sister withoout Callie judging him at all. Marianna needs better friends especially ones that are not making her play a part and be this person she's not and dye her hair in-order to fit in or ones that are not gonna be using her to eventually date her brother but ones that genuianally love and adore her like we do and like she deserves and just ones where she can be herslef around doesn't constantly need to seek their approval from or need to constantly impress. Also Jesus girlfriend sabotaging his wrestling team awards dinner by lying to him just because she is jealous of him haning out with his ex is low and really scummy on her part because he missed out on something important for him just so she could make sure he didn't hang out with Emma.
