We aren't either - current exchange rates and global economics is not our lane. We understand the price of oil and the dynamics behind that, but little else when it comes to the numbers.
Honestly we don't know - we don't have a lot of global currency exchange muscle
By the way I am mostly clueless about this and certainly not an expert.
Putin announced that in the future you must pay for Russian oil (and natural gas?) using Roubles so that might be the cause of the Rouble gaining in value.
Does the rouble rising over the last few days indicate that Western economic sanctions are losing their effectiveness?
