STILL The Worst Funeral Director Ever?

David “Little Hitler” Sconce, aka The Worst Funeral Director of All Time, is out of jail and back in a new HBO docuseries, The Mortician, premiering this Sunday, June 1st. You may remember Sconce from our Cadaver Crimes episode on the Lamb Funeral Home in Pasadena, California that involved cremation crimes, a Corvette with the license plate I BRN 4U, and (alleged) MURDER. To this date Sconce’s story remains one of the weirdest and most horrific cases we’ve covered on the channel.
For those of you asking “Caitlin, will you be watching?” Yes, I will be watching. In fact, let’s watch together and discuss! (Sorry I can’t share my mom’s HBOMAX password with everyone.) I don't know how I feel about giving this guy a whole 3-part doc to revel in his crimes, but I'm anxious to see how the filmmakers handle it.
My plan is to watch the first episode Sunday night and record a Patron exclusive video sharing my thoughts on Monday. I’ll post it here and we can discuss to our little dark heart’s content. While you’re waiting you can catch up by watching our 2018 video on the Lamb Funeral Home case.

When this show popped up on my Max suggestions last week, I knew the story was familiar for some reason and figured Caitlin had already covered it. Grateful to have some companion commentary from a trusted voice like Caitlin to go alongside the HBO version.
