Hart of Dixie 2X5: Walkin' After Midnight

Zoe comes home for a night at Wade's to discover that someone has been sleeping in her bed. She asks Lavon about it and he says it was probably just Wade playing a joke. He denies it, but Zoe isn't convinced. She texts him at the bar and tells her to meet him at her house. He expects to have sex with her, but she's just asking him to install a camera so she can catch whoever it is. It only takes him two minutes, so they end up having sex afterwards anyway.
Later that night, Zoe wakes up to someone climbing in her bed. She sprays pepper spray in their eyes and it turns out, it's George. He's been sleepwalking at night and has ended up at Zoe's several times. She decides she should do a sleep study on him and arranges to spend the night at his place. When she gets there, she hooks him up to an EKG(?) machine to monitor him. He falls asleep. But so does she. She wakes up to find George and his Halloween costume missing and the sleep monitor on the bed.
Zoe enlists Wade to help her find George. They try her house first, but to no avail. Eventually, he wanders into the bar in his costume telling people that Zoe is his girlfriend. Wade overhears this and is a little gloaty about it (he and Zoe talked about him sleep walking to her room earlier), but helps Zoe get him outside. They decide they need to get him back to the houseboat. And, for whatever reason, Zoe does it alone and Wade goes back to the bar (I think). When they are back at the boat, she starts questioning him about what sleep walking George thinks of them as a couple. And she gets really into it. They are this close to kissing when Wade shows up and shoves George in the water. He says he understands George was sleeping walking, but what is Zoe's excuse. He gets pissed and leaves.
She and George end up talking about why they aren't together even though they both want to be. George says he's been dating plenty, but Zoe claims he's not really trying. He's just killing time until they can get together. And, if they want this to work long term, she cannot be his rebound. She tells him he's got to find someone he actually likes to date. Just like she has.
Afterwards, she goes and apologizes to Wade and all is forgiven there super quickly. And George asks out the new beer distributor, who he thinks will be good for him because he needs someone who challenges him and she doesn't really even seem to like him.
While this is going on, Lavon is busy trying to campaign. He's 22 votes shy of Ruby at his point. (I cannot understand how. Why are people voting for her? He's been doing a wonderful job as mayor). Tom shows up and is super excited that he just registered 30 new voters. But, it turns out, they are Auburn fans and will not vote for Lavon since he went to Alabama. AnnaBeth comes up with the brilliant idea of she and Lavon fake dating since she's Auburn royalty. And if she can get past him playing for Alabama, the others can too.
Lemon is not happy about it. I think it's a combination of the fact that she wants to date Lavon, but also that she doesn't like how he's portraying himself. I know she says this to him directly, but I think it's true. Yes, she obviously is jealous, but I do think she's being honest about the other reason as well. Annabeth is busy talking Lavon up at the party and they secure the votes, but after talking to Lemon, he doesn't feel right about it. He ends up coming clean and they decide they are going to vote for Ruby. Idiots.
We've got six more days until the election. I kind of hope that Ruby wins, just so she can see how bad she is at the job and gets impeached. Then Lavon gets his job back. But also, I just want Lavon to win because he deserves it.

Me too! But I'm a sucker for a Halloween episode. It makes zero sense to me. I do not understand. Lavon is awesome. I get wanting some drama, but make one of the other people in town run. George should have done it after he and Lavon got in the fight about Lemon. At least it would make sense.

that one girl george was on a date with that looked familiar was the crazy girl from s1 of 9-1-1 who killed her cheating boyfriend and then wanted to cut out athena’s heart to give to him on valentine’s day.

This was such a fun episode, I loved it. I don't understand the whole Levon thing either like if everyone loves him and has done well as mayor and has made all these improvements to the town why does Ruby even have a fighting chance.
