This is Report 316 and is 49 pages - combat only.
What's the big story? A lot of fog of war is clouding the situation in Bakhmut. We talked to Ukrainian contacts and journalists on the ground and pored over pictures and videos, satellite images, and circumstantial evidence provided by Russian and Ukrainian military leaders. We believe we have a good understanding of the situation, but it is extremely fluid.
The second story? The Russian Ministry of Defense is using mobiks as cannon fodder at an unsustainable rate. The reports from Kreminna and especially Advdiivka are horrific.

Wonder where it will focus? Kremina? Perhaps a mad dash to Mariupol or melitopol? Doubt it will be bakhmut. Whole reason for holding bakhmut would be to tie those forces down. Wouldn't make much sense to engage them I wouldn't think.
A storm is coming - a Ukrainian storm that Queen Olga of Kyiv would approve of. But the time is not right - yet.
When are the Bradley's showing up? In mid Feb they left Berlin
I'd say this is a very safe bet
I wonder if gsafu isn't holding Bahkmut in order to buy time to gather their forces to start their spring offensive now. It would be a terrific time to do it while Russia's best units and equipment are tied up in Bakhmut. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few days.
