What's the big story? I think we can confidently say that the Patriot missile system is quite operational in Kyiv after tonight's performance.

I have the same question. Trying to exhaust Ukraine's air defenses makes sense, but if Ukraine can replenish its defenses it just shows impotence. Another element is doing damage, filling headlines to placate the zombies who scream "no mercy" in all the comments sections in blogs and videos. They keep hammering the notion that Kinzhals cannot be downed....go figure. They come up with all sorts of mechanical and pseudotechnological explanations to "show" it cannot possibly happen. It is utterly bewildering. I guess one day we will know exactly how and why these terrible decisions were made, and these propagandists will blend back into the landscape. For now, we can only speculate.
What’s the point of these current missile attacks? Is it for propaganda targeting Russia’s internal audience? Or to exhaust Ukraine’s air defense missiles? Or a vain attempt to actually try and destroy some patriot radars/launchers? Seems like a huge waste with a looming counteroffensive on the horizon.
