🕑 Added 2023-09-23 21:50:13 +0000 UTCThe Private Military Company Wagner Group-aligned Telegram channel Gray Zone (not to be confused with the Twitter/X account and website) has confirmed that the company owned the Il-76 transport plane that crashed in Mali. This is the fifth Wagner-owned aircraft to fall out of the sky in Mali in the last three weeks.
The plane departed from Minsk, Belarus, with the unofficial Wagner channel claiming no mercenaries were onboard.
