Yeah, Kate seems to have no problems casually conversing in Korean. There are a bunch of details I wonder how I want to say then, or if I want to say them. There was a 3 page version of this scene where I answer all of these questions. I'll likely have some connents later to help solidify them. She's smart and a strong study who has had a year (including a few months in SK) to relearn, as well as every advantage. So she's easily 75_90% on the language skills. A much bigger question mark on her American culture knowledge. She didn't grow up in the U.S. and only attended 1 or 2 years of college there.

Lol sometimes this story is the epitome of doubling down. I'm wondering what the specifics are on Kate's language and cultural knowledge right now. My assumptions would be like ~70% Korean language fluency, and ~60% American cultural fluency? Am I assuming correctly? She seems to have learned Korean really fast.
