How to set the right amount of decay time on your Reverb
🕑 Added 2019-07-06 13:51:53 +0000 UTCUse the send knob to set the amount of reverb you like. As a suggestion I would only push the reverb till you can just hear it for the drum room. Don't make it too wet out of the box, can get a little messy, and please do not put in the kick drum.

Brilliant! Reverb can definitely mess up a good mix.
Thanks for the vid and the question. Was a bit of an eye opener. After watching/applying the concepts, I was making something at 136BPM and instead of what I normally do, dialled in the exact decay values in s/ms for not just reverb but drum sounds (kick, snares, HH..) depending on note length and the result sounds tighter and cleaner.
