Find a source sound (Noise+Tonal Osc) (either via a sample and using sampler or a generator). Second, Filter it at multiple stages if you like especially with different vst's. The choice really is yours here. Third, automate it yourself of let LFO from max for live do it for you.
Key note, make sure it plays back in mono mode (monophonic) and second turn on glide (portamento) to make sure you have tonal gliding aka the v OOO part.

Thanks for the video. I had already started more or less in that direction so that makes me feel good about my ears :) If I have time I'll go further and experiment more with all your advice.
That was cool. I just did something similar following this video and resampled a few bars, reversed some, cut and paste here and there and now I got a couple of cool sounds and started a new track with them. Fun! Thanks :)
