🕑 Added 2021-11-05 11:14:13 +0000 UTCBiggest tip here is to first put on a limiter and see if you need a 2bus compressor to begin with :). After have a listen to what you need and understand that the attack is the transient more or less knob and the release is the sustain more or less knob.
This way you can control the overal vibe according to whatever is triggering the compressor

Who said 30ms maximum?
Cool. When having too much transients you give fast attack and vice versa. Having too much body you give slow release to make this body quieter (and vice versa). I also noticed that it affects sense of tempo and groove. You can make track feeling slower (too slow release time) or faster. The same with limiters with release time settings. What about typical attack time in buss compressors? Why it allows you 30ms maximum? Why not 100ms?
