Haha yes that was a simple one for a change. Nice trick to distort from outside the synth then cut off with EQ8!! I'll try that more often :)
sounds like a widened guitar put into a pedal that volume automates when it's played a little louder (or a guy mixed it like that). When it's louder it pans slightly from right to left on the 2 loud notes. You can do this yourself with an envelope follower if you like.
how about this plucks in 0:18? how are they panned? is it automation for left / right?
