I loved that Pearl and Anna were reunited. I loved Pearl as a character and hated when John killed her. I also liked Anna with Jeremy, not so much hm and Bonnie - don't think they have any chemistry at all and were just thrown together because the writers seem to believe that everyone has to be in a relationship. This episode also highlighted how awesome Damon, Mason and Alaric could have been working as a team to protect the town had Damon not been so paranoid about him being a wolf and making an enemy of him. Even as a ghost he could have left Damon to die down there but chose to help him despite the fact that Damon killed him.

Oh ok. So murder only matters if you know the people. The massacre of others is ok as long as you don’t know them. Got it …. Also if the Val didn’t go up it wasn’t just tomb vampires coming back to take revenge. It’s every disgruntled supernatural being with a bone to pick.

Another way to look at it is that Vicky was willing to kill Elena, someone she knew her whole life and Anna was willing to let the tomb vampires get their revenge

Vicki felt so alone she was willing to let one person die ( Elena). Anna felt alone so she was willing to let a bunch of vengeful vampires come back roaming around & slaughter innocent people as long as she gets to stay. Funny part people are quick to forgive Anna because she’s presented as the sweet victim. I think the actress is amazing, even when her actions are selfish her facial expressions and the way she talks makes her sound innocent. I’m actually surprised I’ve never seen her in another show or movie.
