I don't get why Erin is so against Damon and Elena. Damon is much better suited for her I think. And like Damon said, he'll be the one to keep her alive. Not Stefan. because Damon isn't afraid of Elena hating him, he just cares about her safety and that Elena stays alive.

The show has always been about Damon and Stefan and the dynamics of their relationship over time. I loved that and it's why I watched.

Although the relationship stuff is entertaining. Elena brings the Salvatore’s together again, and for me- the show is about them.

I don’t agree. Respectfully it’s the Salvatore bond that is the main aspect of the show, that people really care about. Many agree on that. Of COURSE Elena and her relationships are important as she’s a main catalyst to the plot, as are the brothers hence them being the main characters- but I would definitely say the only reason Elena’s story came to play was due to the brothers and their relationship with each other, hence involving with the same girl. The show is more of the vampire diaries, not Elena’s diaries

Yeah, no. This sounds cool but its rewriting the history, you cant spend half the show build around the love triangle and then pretend it wasnt about that, when other outside circumstances changed the show's story going forward.

This episode was Gold!!! I feel like both parents truly wanted to protect the kids but when it comes to Michael I think it’s more pride than protection. …. Like y’all said someone wants to be bigger or stronger.
