It’s not Mars working with Inaros, it’s a faction of the Martian Military who had intentions of breaking away from Mars due to its perceived impending death. They find a star system filled with advanced technology left over from the ring-builder civilization and call it Laconia. As you saw in season 4 when the rocinante arrived on illus, protomolecule is needed to turn on the ancient ring-builder tech. The breakaway Martians (let’s call them Laconians) need protomolecule to activate the tech in the Laconian system so they work with Marco to steal it from Fred in exchange for war ships and stealth tech. Hope that explains everything.

Marco wasn't escaping to another system. He was taking and consolidating control of the ring space. remember in the 3rd episode when Admiral Sauveterre was giving a lecture at the college, he said that the ring space is a tactical choke point and who ever controls it can exert power over all 1300 star systems.

Yeah, you need to rewatch the credits. Amos was talking with Holden about how Holden wanted to kill him, in order to mirror this situation to the situation with Peaches who also wanted to kill Holden, so Holden now also need not to have hard feelings about it :)
