The Alchemist Part 1: The Skin

Apologies for the bit of noise in the intro/outro, I live out in the country and it been very rainy which has the sump pump working over time and interrupting my flow.

From Vallejo, Ice Yellow, Carmine Red, Hull Red, Violet, Prussian Blue, Dark Blue Pale, Intermediate Blue, and Black.

Thanks, Joshua! There is a method to the madness! I usually leave eyebrows off the table unless they're sculpted on. It always looks funny if you draw them on a 32 mm model and they appear too flat on larger sculpts. Of course exceptions will always pop up but those are my general thoughts.
It’s a great example of working from general to specific. It’s one of the first lessons they teach you in art school, but also one that is easy to forget. At what scale do eyebrows look good painted on mini’s? I’ve always wondered about this because they are usually left out.
