Stormcast Army Part 4: Annihilators
🕑 Added 2021-06-18 16:41:27 +0000 UTCWith Dominion in hand I have to take some time to add these amazing models to my growing ranks. Fingers crossed my old troops will still be viable in the new book but this isn't about rules, it's about cools B)
In this video I'm laying out the complete process used to paint up my Annihilators. The colored metal adds a nice touch and was very east to do. I left out the snow basing because I want that video to stand on it's own, opposed to being stapled to the end of this one.

Hey James! Here's the list: From Vallejo model color: sand yellow, dark sea blue, violet, silver, hull red, intermediate blue, buff, charred brown, green brown, German gray, & black. Also silver from the vallejo model air range. From P3: Blighted gold From Liquitex: Titanium white From GW: wyldwood, black templar, & ork flesh. All of those are contrast paints. From the army painter: flesh wash, dark tone, & strong tone. It seems like a lot but these are pretty basic colors that you can find equivalents of, no need to go out and drop a hundred on paint :) I hope that helps and always feel free to ask more questions as they come up!

I think the citadel paints are fine, there are a few that don't work well, like their white and black but mainly I don't use them because they are expensive and I've invested into these particular brands. I have used citadel paints before and liked them so don't worry if that's what you have collected :)

Love your work. I am a beginner and trying to do the same scheme with Citadel paints. What's your take on the Citadel paints and why do you prefer using Vallejo and P3? Cheers!
