To start, here's a sign of life and boot in the door of 2024 :)
Today I'm lining up all my projects completed last year for a nice family photo. But here I wanted to share one of the final pieces from 2023. Painted at Vinceycon, I feel like this one is on a new level personally. As far as the technical painting goes anyway. I certainly enjoy the narrative side and story telling more these days but I still push myself in other directions. With Alaana I was able to wrap together a lot of the concepts I've been describing over this last unchained year. A fitting way to be ending a momentous year.
I hope you all continue to improve and enjoy this art, I hope you find it as enriching and rewarding as I do. Cheers my friends!

Heck yeah, that was a great figure study. Hopefully we can get more people in on the next time we do something like this. I'm proud of my model who came out of it. I think I'll take her with me to LVO :)

Great piece! It was fun to see Vince's 'documentary' video about the painting process and also how different the same bust turned out with your 3 approaches, fascinating how free one still is when painting a mini where the shapes are all dictated already Looking forward to a great 2024!
