The pure serotonin you felt during Defying Gravity just made my day lmfao, it's such a peak musical. I went to see it live with my sister back in 2015 and I've never forgotten that feeling. It's what allowed me to get into more musicals.

The book is very dark compared to the musical it explores the psychological aspects of elphaba as well as the sexual themes in the land of Oz that is quite weird

Fun facts: 1) Jonathan Bailey (Fiyero) is clasically trained in ballet, so yes you were correct about that part. 2) Everyone did their own singing, stunts and dancing.. Including Jeff Goldum and his tapping feet. 3) Along with Idina and Kristen, most of the extras in the movie are old cast members/dancers from all the different Wicked productions (Like Galinda’s mom who is one of the actresses who has played Elphaba in the past) 4) Its hard to pick a favorite song because they’re alllll so good lmao 5) If you loved part one, I can guarantee that you’re gonna love part 2 even more!!
