Don't know if you're open to fantastical storylines, but my first C-Drama was Eternal Love and I HIGHLY recommend it! I would love to watch it 'with' you as well! Also, Ashes of Love, the Pillow Book (a spin-off of Eternal Love) and Love & Destiny are such sweet torture!
