🕑 Added 2023-01-02 11:40:20 +0000 UTCSorry for the crustiness! I am working my way up (or in this case down) to a good thorough sheath cleaning. For that to happen, I first need to get him comfortable in the barn. This is a green horse that hadn't had any exposure to being in a barn until I started working with him fairly recently. He is still quite restless and fidgety, which would make grabbing him by his privates quite difficult and potentially dangerous.

I know. It's quite normal. It's just dead skin etc. Responsible horse owners do a cleaning on a regular basis (maybe twice a year). I am training him to be comfortable with that procedure. Of course I will film when I get there! 😜

Yes! Especially this time a year it's really warm and cosy in there. You can imagine that if he feels uncomfortable or unsafe, he's not going to drop for me when I want to clean him!
