I actually agree with Gavin. Except I'm mostly just annoyed that people even call it military time. It's not military time. Plenty of people/professions such as 1st responders and medical personnel use 24 time. Basically if it requires accurate paperwork they use 24 hour time. Also you don't have to subtract 12 to convert just subtract 2 and drop the first digit. It works for all of them except 22:00, 23:00, and 24:00.

In what way would the world be better if pies were easier to steal? There would simply be less pie making. I assume this law would not apply to pie making businesses. What defines a pie? Having pie in the name? A Sheppard's pie and pizza pie (deep dish and even regular sized pizza are referred to as pies in some regions) have to be left out a full hour? That thing will be frozen in the winter.
