You couldn't. Also MIA is also a fantasy story with realistic/complex characters.

I am making my own opinions lol, watching Loli's get tortured and piss on the ground is very different from the controversial stuff in mushoku tensei, its not even comparable. One is a realistic fantasy story and the other is just fucking bizarre.

Code Geass is a master class on character development with amazing story telling, plot direction, soundtrack, and a wild thriller ride with tons of discussion and theory crafting to be had. It's also complete. Vinland Saga is not finished and probably won't be considering the reception of S2(which is slow imo as a manga reader)...though maybe.

I was waiting to vote for made in abyss (´･ω･｀) Hopefully it will be in the next one ! btw I like the Land of the Lustrous suggestion mentioned above. It's not perfect but it has a really unique way of combining religious elements with fantasy. It's quite popular in Japan so I'm surprised it's not that well-known in the west.

Also if you're going to pick something to watch at somepoint regardless of polls I still recommend Made in Abyss due to: -It's 21 episodes shorter than the next shortest anime on the list -It's an amazing discussion show, with one of the best soundtracks and art direction in anime (imo). -It's a very immersive show similar to how I feel about MT -From what I see from your past reactions it's different to anything you've reacted to -I think it's clear from comments on patreon on this and previous posts that a fairly large amount of your dedicated community would like to see it, even if it doesn't perform well on youtube polls -It's one of my favourite anime and you two are my favourite reactors, so I would personally be very happy Reasons not to: -I've heard it's fairly copyright heavy, though there is reactions on youtube. (good excuse for a patreon only if you wanted that) -It performs poorly on youtube polls

Code Geass is amazing, one of the first anime I've watched that made me have post-show depression cuz it was over, just don't watch the movie:D but it can't stand a chance against more popular and recent anime, FMA is a great show, despite more vocal fans giving a bad name:d sadly the thing that they good at won't work here since it looked behind paywall, so Vinland being more recent will win, despite s2 being so boring atleast for me

I would recommend Puella Magi Madoka Magica as a future option if not already seen. Plenty to discuss there and it's not a long show. I'm honestly surprised I haven't seen it mentioned yet. I like some longer shows like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Code Geass, but long shows on a reaction channel can be rough for those not interested.

Thats interesting , I would say FMA B is a well made shounen but it doesnt have anything exceptional. I would probably pick another 10 shounens before FMA B. Dropped Code Geass after first couple eps , could not stand character writing , pacing and character designs . Vinland Saga tho. I think its one of the best written anime in last 5 + years . And manga is on par with Vagabond and Berserk .

Vinland Saga winning is a true shame. I really hope more people vote for Code Geass because first of all, it's complete. Second of all, it's an all time Classic Thriller with top notch characterization, crazy plot, and tons of theory crafting. Vinland Saga's first season is good but as a manga reader I feel like (no spoilers here) it kind of gets slow. Don't get me wrong, it's not awful, but nowhere near the other two outside of the first season. FMA has a ton of character building, doesn't cheap on stuff either, has a crazy plot, and also has amazing theory crafting. Code Geass is a master class on character development. FMA is pretty damn good too. Neither cheap out. Vinland Saga...I can't spoil and it hurts. Just my opinion. Edit: Whatever you guys choose tho I'm sure your discussions will be good :)

A bit more of a niche show to react to, but I would recommend watching Land of the Lustrous. I know these polls usually get the most well-known series, which is fine, but sometimes it would be nice to see something a bit different. Land of the Lustrous would fit your style of reaction videos perfectly, since it has lots of mystery elements, philosophical contemplation, unique worldbuilding, a diverse cast of interesting characters and genuinely touching emotional moments. It's just a very different show from most of the other anime that I've seen. I feel like all of these elements could lead to great discussions and reactions. It's also just 12 episodes, so it wouldn't be overly long.

I feel kind of strange recommending another mecha in the post where Code Geass is an option, but you guys should watch 86 at some point! It’s very well written and masterfully directed. As a result, the show is chock full of symbolism, little details, great worldbuilding, and interesting characters/themes. I feel like it'd be very ripe for your discussions.

I get a feeling Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure will never win a poll in this community because so many of us love your breakdowns and analysis of serious dramatic series but I really hope you guys check it out some time on the channel, it’s an amazing piece of media that many modern mangaka cite as inspiration for their work, and would be a fun change of pace. Among these 3 I don’t think you could go wrong with any, they’ll all make excellent reaction series :)
