Fun fact: A lot of people who don't understand what a nuclear bomb is misrepresent this as actually being equivalent to a nuclear bomb. Rudeus was ENVISIONING a nuclear explosion when he made it. That doesn't mean that's what he made. Rudeus does not possess the necessary know-how to create that kind of attack. Without a chant he cannot manipulate forces he doesn't understand, and his education stopped well before nuclear mechanics. It would however, indeed have killed everyone except for Orsted had it not been absorbed. Because there's a long stretch of ungodly powerful before reaching nuclear and he was absolutely somewhere within it.

While I agree that it would have probably killed Rudy, Eris and even Ruijerd, Orsted would have been fine. That dude is just way too strong.

Fun Fact: No, Seriously, if not for the wrym gate absorbing all it's energy, it would have killed everyone there, everyone. This was Rudeus in panic mode unable to make a rational decision while dealing with crushed lungs, lack of oxygen to the brain, dual casting, terror, confusion, and something that defied his reality (There was someone who could beat Ruijerd??). He didn't pull any punches. In other news, that drill shot was the first he's ever used with the intention of complete killing.
