Yeah the thing about this show is that you need to remember a lot of small hints in these early episodes and if you are truly watching less than 2 episodes per week you will not remember them. I still expect them to be watching more than 1 episode per week, but they just want to have this schedule of releasing 1 episode per week.

The fact that we did not get any release that means season 3 is still far away. Not expecting it before Fall 2024

Doubt it tbh, started possibly but I wouldn’t expect anything till January/February at the earliest. They also wanted to have season 2 start April 1st on Subarus and end on Emilia’s birthday so April seems like a good potential date. Having said that I’m also all for 2 episodes per week (if possible for them) it’ll be hard to remember all the threads of the plot from season 1 by the time they’re well into season 2

There's 50 episodes in total, at this pace we'll be finished in 10 months.
