My interpretation is she was saying she's happy because after witnessing true evil and atrocity she no longer feels guilt or shame about stealing a stupid ring and knows that God can't be angry with her. Because it's just truly inconsequential in God's eyes compared to massacring 60 innocent people.

Yes, morally Grey. Considering time and place of the series. Askelad never showed having fun in those types of activities. Unless you think thorkell, Thorfin and thors are monsters too.

I hope people have finally realized that Askeladd is a monster. Seems like most forgot what he did to Thors and his son.

About what Gratianus would think of Askeladd's actions, I don't think it would matter much to him. The way I understand it, Gratianus got them through Wales so they are now back in England. That's why they want to make sure that nobody can't know their location.

I don't know if a mod will see this, but Autosave can start watching the intro to Vinland Saga AFTER episode 19 to avoid all footage that contains spoilers. The outro reuses all footage before episode 12, so it is safe to watch now.
