Agree with this, I remember on my first watch really loving the first 5 or so episodes, then falling off quite a bit until this one and then damn it's just stellar. Then season 2 goes and becomes maybe my favourite season of television ever.

Openings should never be watched. Too many spoilers. The should always be watched at the final episode. I also never watch them privately since I want to go into something blind. Its weird to me how there are people who spoil themselves on important characters and story direction by watching OPs.

I don't have an answer for that. I'm only currently keeping up with 2 of the series they're watching so I don't know if they've said anything about the other shows' OPs.

Maybe you decided not to watch the second OP because the first OP of Vinland Saga contained something that could predict what was to come. It is unfortunate that we cannot see their reaction, but I respect their decision.

That's a valid response. I will counter with, why the lack of consistency then? They are, as far as i know, watching the OPs of all the other shows right now

Listen, honestly, whether you like it or not, Anna & Ben have personally chosen to not watch OPs because they don't want to see anything before it happens. That's the viewing experience they desire, and you're here despite knowing it. You're completely welcome to continue complaining about it on every video if you'd like to, but as a humble suggestion from a nobody, maybe consider being happy and grateful that they take time out of their lives to do this at all. People consuming content the way they want isn't lame, regardless of the amount of people choosing to do it that way.

I mean, literally no one ever skips watching the OPs for shows they enjoy (and if they do, they're in the extreme minority) so I'm confused why some reactors do it. It just feels very lame.

It is very spoilery at one part, it kinda spoils a certain fight and if they read much into it they can be spoiled at something that happens in the last episode so I would prefer they watch it at the last episode imo

So when are you actually going to watch the OP? I hope this isn't a trend going forward because you're truly missing out on some amazing visuals/OPs at the risk of very, very insignificant spoilers (if you can even call them that).
