Super glad you are siding on watching openings and endings. Its part of the anime experience and its annoying to cut it off when you can really enjoy it and all of the symbolism and extraction you can make from it. I thought you were gonna go the route of not watching them at all and I wasn't gonna be all that happy about it because its part of the experience.

And on a completely random note, listen for any Steins Gate news as the sequel is expected to be released this year. It seems likely that the sequel will be released as a video game, but there's an ounce of hope that it'll be released as season 3.

Arnheid is one of the underrated characters in this show, and despite having gone through some tough experiences, she is still one of the most genuine people you'll ever meet.

In 90% of cases openings contain spoilers and hints on whats going to happen and in only 10% of cases it has your so called "misdirections". So unfortunately thats the worst decision...

Poor Einar, he can't catch a break with Arnheid, but the man has it bad that he is willing to help free her husband just so she can be free and happy. Arnheid's VA kills her role and she does mostly non-anime work. Her ability to show Arnheid's range of motion is top tier, she makes you feel her raw emotion.
