"Who would you recommend Frieren to?" People who would benefit from understanding similar concepts and messages that Mushoku Tensei tries to teach, but who you know wouldn't be able to see past it's "problematic" aspects.

totally agree with you there chibi. i wouldn't wish that on anyone.. so i'll always do everything i can to vote against that show whenever it comes up

Nah, what happened in the end totally ruined the whole show for me. It was so unnecessary and over the top. It literally made me upset in the stomach. No other show has ever done this to me. Went from one of my favorite animes ever to the worst because of that episode alone. I even gave the manga a chance just to see if it gets better but it just got worse and worse. I don't want them to experience the disappointment I felt

I have been watching Animes for over 20 years, watched 100s of Animes in that time, I can't remember a single one that made me feel the way Frieren does. I don't think any kind of media ever did that.

with how much they are loving worldbuilding and well thought out characters and situations, i really think they would love Delicious in Dungeon Meshi.. here's hoping it'll be in on of the next polls ^^

If they weren't an anime watcher typically, I think it could be recommended if they like fantasy and aren't bothered by a slower pacing.
