imagine believing there actually still is a schedule. It is so reguarly broken that it is obviously not taken seriously by them. they probably make that calender post every month just for new patrons so they can be incorrectly told what they are paying for.

They've updated the schedule for August. It's a shame that we aren't updated regularly on any changes though and have to wait a month to see how the schedule has "evolved" during the previous month.

I'll be honest, 2 day late reply. But this is def a thing, they have a schedule here and on yt with what day a show is going to be up but they've never really hit that date for a show. Like Heavenly Delusion was every friday but it pretty much always went up on Mondays. If they can't get an episode out on time, they should update the schedule with dates they can actually hit. I'm sure people were excited to see Heavenly or Monogatari every thursday and friday only to then have to wait for the episodes to go up Monday because they weren't able to post on time.

Cowboy Bepop and FMAB undeniably have the two best english dubs in all of anime. And frankly, they are probably the only two anime of all time where the english version is better.

I usually hate every dub and am widely considered a "Sub Elitist" and I still think the FMAB english dub is better than the Japanese lol. It's elite.

This, it's not a "genre deconstruction" in the sense that it leans into the audience identifying the tropes of its genre to subvert them, it unabashedly does its own thing. I'm relatively new to anime, but when I saw it for the first time last year it immediately became my favorite I've seen. Think autosave is one of the few reaction channels that could do it justice as I wait for filmbuff to finish his rewatch lol, would hopefully appreciate the brilliant cinematography, editing, and avant-garde artistic elements

I honestly can't remember any point were he was stiff tbh, he's one of the better parts of the dub for me personally, and I rewatch it all the time so I don't think it's nostalgia, given that my first experience was the sub.

I haven't watched Cowboy Bepop yet, but I've heard really good things about its dub. And I'm pretty sure Edgerunners is still a dub, given that it was animated by a japanese studio, even though the dub feels more natural imo

It's very, very good, but I think that title goes to Cowboy Bebop personally, which also has near universal acclaim for the dub. Cyberpunk Edgerunners is another with a great dub, though with that I'm not even sure if it's a dub or the intended version.

I'll be so happy if you end up watching FMAB and i'll get to re-experience it with you guys ! BUT please i beg you to watch it in SUB not DUB...I don't know if people who praise the dub of this show are serious, nostalgic maybe or just don't like to read subtitles but imo the dub ruins the meaning of a lot a content and lore and Edward voice is pretty bad (sorry to the dub va but i think their voice acting is pretty stiff..)

Huh? You don't even have to know what mecha is and you can still fall in love with EVA. The show isn't about cool giant robots fighting each other, it's a deep psychological character study that dives straight into the darkest themes such as depression, lonliness, suicide, and the Hedgehog dillema. EVA is a masterpiece because of its characters, writing, and symbolism. The giant mecha robots fighting each other was just to get people like you interested. It's not the focus of the series.

Watching Eva without being fairly engrossed in the mecha genre isn't always the best place to start since it's a lot of meta analysis, it's like watching Cabin in the Woods as your entry to horror.

If FMAB does end up winning (fingers crossed xd) i would recommend considering reacting to the dub, since its quite possibly the most critically acclaimed english dub for an anime out there. To the point where I personally reccomend it above the sub, even though I'm usually a sub elitist.

Just know this: There are several different voting methods you can implement that would help reduce rigging using Google Forms. It is up to you and your Staff to figure out which works best for you. I know several YouTubers/Streamers use some alternative voting methods that seem to work quite well. Some better than most!

As I kind of expected, since you have watched my favorite popular shows already I was bound to be a bit let down by the options (my three recommendations definitely lacked in popularity). I have watched every show on the list and while a lot of them I do like, none of have the same level as a lot of the shows you have already seen (Land of the Lustrous and Violet Evergarden are both incredible, but since Anna has seen Violet that only leaves one show that I am super rooting for). All I can hope for is for my hidden gems to get more popular as time goes on so they can appear on polls

Thanks for the response! This may have already been recommended, but have you ever considered doing a Google Form for any polls of 6+? Could be made anonymous and allow for more options than what either YT or Patreon allow. (I've noticed that with public results, people tend to vote what they see are winning, rather than what they want.)

Hey, no need to take it to heart. There's nothing to apologize for. And I didn't mean to imply that the options here don't seem representative. I figured it was going to be more vibes-based, I'm surprised you went through the trouble of tallying everything. I just meant that if you're still willing to put work into it next time around, you might get more bang for your buck putting that work toward the design rather the interpretation. Anyway love you guys keep doing what you're doing ✌️

We tried our best to include liked comments within these polls! but being transparent it was difficult this time around to discern. The majority of comments with more than 30 likes listed more than 3 shows; so even with mods helping out with comments under the initial comment, it was unclear which those were upvoting for. You are right though, More laid out methods per poll beforehand would do wonders in results. We try to learn and adapt for polls as we go, but i apologize for falling short on some aspects. -ben

In the future i think you'd get more representative results if you had laid out a methodology beforehand. Speaking personally, others had already made suggestions I agreed with, so rather than making my own I just liked those comments.

I wonder what Fate series entails cause there's quite a lot of shows that fall under Fate. I don't think a lot of them are worth watching, but the ones by Ufotable (Fate Zero and UBW/HF) are peak.

Oh dang... a whole heck of a lot of these I really dislike or dropped. I'd really enjoy Odd Taxi or Land of the Lustrous, or even LycoReco, but those vote counts make it look like all of those are already out of the running.
