What really fascinates me is how the author expands on the "helping" part of the story. Only you could help yourself, while also asking others for help, and the ending at owarimonogatari is like *chef kiss*, can't wait for you guys to reach that far in like a year ? 2 years ?

When they start a brand new show they usually release the first 3 all at once. As for episodes of a second season typically not but I was thinking there's a small chance since the Monogatari series is named differently by each story rather than traditional "seasons." I guess the most similar thing would be when they started watching Steins; Gate 0 after Steins; Gate but I can't remember if they released the first 3 episodes for SG0.

It would be funny if they release the first three episodes of Kizu (as they do when starting a new series) at once as it’s technically named differently, without realizing it’s a 3 ep/movie story lol. Let us hope for accidental extra content!! Haha

This is the most optimal watch order. There's one weird thing going on, which I'll explain: 1. Bakemonogatari 2. Kizumonogatari 3. Nisemonogatari 4. Nekomonogatari 5. First 10 episodes of Monogatari Second Season 6. Hanamonogatari 7. The rest of Monogatari Second Season 8. Tsukimonogatari 9. Koyomimonogatari 10. Owarimonogatari 11. Owarimonogatari 2nd Season 12. Zoku Owarimonogatari 13. Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season Hanamonogatari is in the middle of Monogatari Second Season, because it's just an arc ripped out of the Second Season to make it fit an anime release season, and then released separately as an OVA. Makes no sense, so put it back where it belongs.

i think it fits better after koyomimonogatari to what happens at the end. for me its the perfect time for a flashback to fit in. if youd continue with owari 2nd season directly after koyomi, the ending kinda loses its weight

Monogatari is an incredible journey in every way, it's a lot to process in just one season and the first season of the anime, but believe us when we tell you that this is not even the tip of the iceberg that surrounds all of Monogatari. If you decide to continue with the series, I indicate the seasons that are in order of broadcast: 1) Bakemonogatari 2) Nisemonogatari (I highly recommend watching Kizumonogatari after Nisemonogatari if you want to jump ahead to the 3 Kizu movies) 3) Nekomonogatari Kuro 4) Monogatari Series Second Season 5) Hanamonogatari 6) Tsukimonogatari 7) Owarimonogatari 8) Koyomimonogatari 9) Kizumonogatari (3 MOVIES) 10) Owarimonogatari Second Season 11) Zoku Owarimonogatari 12) Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season (Currently in broadcast) It's quite a few seasons, but as you saw in these 15 episodes, it's a journey that is enjoyable from start to finish. Super excited for Kizu starting next week! I'm not sure if its been mentioned before by anyone but PLEASE watch the original trilogy of movies that started in 2017 instead of the condensed version released this year. The condensed newer single release cuts out a TON of content from the original 3 movies in an attempt to make it stand as its own thing, unconnected from the rest of the series, which removes a lot of what makes Kizu great. Anyways, love you guys content, and I'm glad your enjoying the series so far!
