never understood Nise hate. To me it was at least on the same level as Bake if not better, especially towards the end. There are some sus scenes definitely but ig for me it's more humorous rather than cringy or uncomfortable. First half of Nise's 1st arc is on a slower side ig, it's more of a SoL silly banter and a set-up for later but I love SoL silly banter in Monogatari.

Nise's ending and its philosophical underpinnings are still something I think about to this day. I'm sure Anna and Ben will be delighted to get more insight into the philosophy of the specialists, especially how it ties in to Meme and Kaiki's personalities.

I personally think Nise is the most underrated/overhated part of Monogatari. Everyone thinks of it a just the heavy fanservice part but there is so much we get in Nisemonogatri that is important to the rest of the series. We get resolution to Senjougahara's troubles, get introduced to fan favorite characters, have seeds planted for future plot points, and get presented with probably Monogatari's most important theme or explored idea after "You can only save yourself." Also, I personally think the banter here is the strongest in the series, which makes it one of the more fun and rewatchable parts of Monogatari, as well as cement the kind of relationship Araragi has with everyone. As for the fanservice, yeah, it's maybe a bit more consistent, and we all know the one particular scene in question, but I personally think other scenes in later parts are more uncomfortable than anything in Nise; that particular scene is so over the top in its presentation its funnier for me than anything. I'm not saying that it's not normal to feel uncomfortable, or that Nisemonogatari might not be everyone's favorite, but the material presented in this part outside the fanservice is integral to the show's identity and cannot be skipped.

If they didn't dropped the show after having Hanekawa sexually assaulted on screen in her opening they will be fine, luckily they're both mature adults that understand "weird" in fiction is not a dealbreaker

They got past the storeroom scene, they'll be fine. Monogatari is a sexually charged property, and that is integral to it's identity. If somebody doesn't like it, monogatari isn't for them.

Yeah man. Unfortunatelly nisemonogatari, especially on the beggining has so much weird scenes. After the first two episodes this get better a little bit. But NISE is the monogatari that has more weird scenes. If you surpass nise the others are gold

If u are first time watcher its def better to watch it on your own, especially if u want to get it done with and not wait a lot (i can understand you on that pain)

im going ahead without them, was watching 1st episode of nise, i want to tough it out because of how creative/cool this series has been and likely will be, but im just depressed man. its not even funny or serving any purpose, its just uncomfortable. i turned it off and feel a bit embarrassed to watch it 😞

They’ve already seen similar stuff in other shows, so they can get through it (I believe). Sure, some parts might feel a little cringey or weird, but they can still appreciate the overall story and characters. Whether we’ll actually get a new upload soon is another question, but they’re liking the series so far. Also, I don’t get why everyone always focuses on just one part of Nisemonogatari when talking about it.... when it’s not just about that, has so much more to it.

To me personally I wanted that they skip nisemonogatari. I know that it is important but I prefer that they skip this part instead of a possibility to drop when they are watching. I want so much to see they react to the other seasons, and nise has so many weird scenes that I have fear that they could drop.

Precedent says any show they've watched they'll continue when more comes out. But it's autosave, so we'll see in 2025 probably.

スポイルにならないように、日本語でコメントします。 KIZU3部作はBAKEの後なら、視るタイミングにはそれぞれの良さがあるから問題はないし、劇場版前のTV放映でも既に超名作となります。ただ…2ndシーズンの前に、全視聴者へgreat fire wallが立ち塞がるかも知れません。勿論ch視聴者は、その時点でのリアクションに対し賛否は問わず、寧ろ楽しみに…あっ違った、ちゃんと見守り擁護するので、その先を見るならば、好き勝手言っちゃって下さい(*'▽'*) マイルドで出来の良い映画が、レビュアー最大の試練である筈がない。様々な角度で厳しくなるかも知れませんが、そこはメンバーと一緒に乗り越え、作品絶賛の理由まで辿り着きましょうね^^;
