Great discussion and timeline analysis! Very cool how after Ononoki's comment about it feeling like a game, you intuitively mentioned how the bits we get of many characters across second season make them feel like players. Surely the Fire Sisters card game shenanigans is somehow insightfully connected to this; as Anna said, we can leave it to the Fire Sisters to be the real thinkpieces of Monogatari and ask the important questions, giving us exactly what we need to linger in our brain after the episode. Hahahaha
