Damn, I haven't seen April yet. But watching Rascal again is also OK, since there are a couple of new movies and episodes since I watched it. Only downside is, I think Rascal is a show that's good to binge watch. Don't know if a single episode has enough content, but we will see. Besides: There is still a lot of old content missing on Patreon and YouTube, since the recent hack I suppose? The error message is "content is private" or something like that, after you click on the episode in a collection. A direct message was not answered for two weeks unfortunately. If you have the same issues, please contact the channel somehow.

I just noticed, they drop 3 episodes for new shows and bunny girl senpai is basically the best anime to do a 3 episode drop. Can't wait!

It'll be a real bummer if Bunny Girl wins. It's a pretty solid show, but watching it in conjunction with Monogatari would be rough. They've always been pretty good at engaging with shows on their own terms and seeing the positives, so I'm sure they'd enjoy it, but I imagine it would be hard to not compare the two when watching them at the same time. And that comparison leaves Bunny Girl looking far worse than it otherwise might; Monogatari is just beyond well done in so many ways.

Funny to see Bunny girl win, cause Bunny girl senpai is just "monogatari, but without the degeneracy and avant garde art style" and thats not a dig at either of those shows Bunny girl is excellent in its own right and monogatari has long been my problematic fave. Just two wildly different takes on essentially the same core concept/structure of a show.

It's a shame Hibike Euphonium didn't make it, but the poll on YouTube was pretty close in general, so maybe there'll be another chance in the future. This is still a good selection tho.
