I know it's easy to forget because he's never mentioned again since episode 1, but it sure would be nice to see Izuku's father actually come home from his work abroad. I haven't finished the manga myself, so I have no idea if he shows up there either, but it could be a comedic thing or just a nice touch to add at the end that his father returns home.

The discussion on Fairy Tail style endings vs Realistic endings reminded me of Lord of the Rings. For the longest time I wished they had a more "Perfect" ending. Now, I'm grateful for the lessons that not all tears are in evil, and that the last pages in any story, are ours to write.
