Which one would you prefer? - Photosets vs '3D-Poses'?
🕑 Added 2025-05-28 23:24:11 +0000 UTCWhen it comes to a pose that I am working on, being released as either a photoset or a 3D-Pose.. which one would you prefer here?
As a reference point: I would like to use the most recent version of it, which was the Nina vs Reina - Side scissor that I uploaded. As the last one had been way too far back to reasonably compare it to something new.
For me, it's obviously a lot more render-time and in the country that I live, where electricity costs are as high as they can get? Money is also a factor. But I don't want this to become a concern for anyone else other than myself.
I think, if you end up enjoying those 3d-poses a lot more than a photoset? Then I would totally be willing to finalize the set with a moving camera that explores places, rather than a Photo-camera that explores several angles.
But now back to my question. If we had a Pose and that one would now either be turned into a Photoset or a 3D pose with some sounds, as if the 'game' or scene was 'paused'.
Which one would you prefer?

(PS: Don't worry, this isn't taking the place of animations. I nearly got my next one ready with the sound-edit and those have a completely separate schedule. <3)
(PSPS: I am also not sure about the name '3d-poses'. Maybe someone has a better name? :3)

I just wanted to mention it here again: If those 3D-poses should do well? They would only take the place of a photoset. They are not a full replacement for Animations. Those, I am still working on. When a non-moving pose is done and is quite detailed, there is just always the possibility to do something 'more' with it. I'm just looking to figure out if you would perceive this as 'more' or something that you enjoy less. It also won't fully replace Photosets. Some poses are just way more ideal for more angles, rather than a camera that explores those places more. It kind of depends on the detail of the scene, but I shall let you voice your opinion :3 Hope you are all doing well <3
